Grüner Opal ist ein häufiger Opal, der aus einer siliziumdioxidhaltigen Lösung aus Siliziumdioxid und Wasser entsteht. Wenn Wasser durch die Erde sickert, nimmt es Silizium aus Sandstein auf; wenn das Wasser verdunstet, hinterlässt es eine Siliziumablagerung, die sich über Millionen von Jahren langsam zu Opal verfestigt. Sein lebendiger Grünton stammt von Spuren von nickelhaltigen Mineralien wie Nontronit.
Grüner Opal wird seit langem mit Fülle und Erneuerung in Verbindung gebracht und soll Wohlstand anziehen sowie emotionale Ausgeglichenheit unterstützen – was ihn ebenso bedeutungsvoll wie beeindruckend in der Präsentation macht.
