Diese außergewöhnliche Pfeilspitze stammt aus der nördlichen neolithischen Tenerean-Kultur – einer hochentwickelten pastoralen Gesellschaft, die während der Afrikanischen Feuchtzeit in der zentralen Sahara blühte, als die Region Seen, Graslandschaften und eine reiche Tierwelt beherbergte. Tenerean-Artefakte gehören zu den feinsten lithischen Objekten des afrikanischen Neolithikums, und dieses Exemplar ist ein hervorragendes Beispiel dafür: Es wurde aus einer gezielten Kombination von Feuerstein und Achat gefertigt und zeigt sowohl technische Meisterschaft als auch ein durchdachtes ästhetisches Empfinden bei der Materialwahl.
Die Pfeilspitze wurde mit feinem Druckabschlag auf sehr hohem Niveau bearbeitet, mit sauberen, regelmäßigen Abschlagspuren auf beiden Seiten. Die Patina – entstanden durch tausende Jahre der Einwirkung der Sahara-Umgebung – ist schön und gleichmäßig, was dem Stück Tiefe und Authentizität verleiht. Die Kombination aus Feuerstein für die strukturelle Stabilität und Achat für seine optischen Qualitäten zeugt von einem Hersteller, der sowohl die funktionalen als auch die ästhetischen Eigenschaften seiner Materialien verstand.

This was part of a double order, same as my other review. I’m new to pinning as a hobby in my spare time. From what I can tell they’re good specimens with plenty of variety. My only gripe is that they didn’t come with ID but that wouldn’t stop me from ordering again. Hopefully ID can be added to future purchases.
