Named from the Greek word for blue, kyanite is one of the mineral world's most visually distinctive crystals. Its long, bladed formations catch the light with a silky, pearlescent lustre that sets it apart from more common display stones. Sourced from Brazil and mounted on a solid metal base, this large 3kg specimen makes a commanding statement in any collection, interior, or display environment.
Unlike many crystals that grow in clusters or points, kyanite forms in elongated blade-like structures — a natural architecture that gives each piece a sculptural, almost architectural quality.
