A striking polished free form specimen of Red Hematoid Quartz — also known as Harlequin Quartz — hand-cut with a flat base for effortless display. Each piece is graded by weight, so dimensions will vary naturally, and the unique character of each stone — in colour, pattern, shape, and finish — means no two specimens are alike.
Red Hematoid Quartz is clear or milky Quartz containing inclusions or phantoms of Hematite, which suffuse the crystal with rich red, orange, and golden tones. The stone has a long history of human significance — worn in amulets by the Ancient Egyptians, who believed it offered protection to the wearer. Its combination of Quartz clarity and Hematite grounding energy makes it a particularly prized specimen among collectors.
Said to calm the mind and relieve stress, Red Hematoid Quartz is associated with clarity of thought — giving space to process and resolve what needs attention.
Natural variations in colour, pattern, shape, and finish are to be expected; every specimen is entirely unique and may differ from those pictured.
