A captivating polished free form specimen of Tourmaline in Quartz, hand-cut with a flat base for effortless display. Each piece is graded by weight, so dimensions will vary naturally, and the unique character of each stone — in colour, pattern, shape, and finish — means no two specimens are alike.
Tourmaline in Quartz forms under conditions of intense heat and pressure deep within the earth, where both minerals exist in a molten, liquid state and are able to intermingle. As temperatures gradually cool, the two minerals separate and solidify, leaving needle-like phantoms and inclusions of Tourmaline suspended within the clarity of the Quartz crystal. The result is a specimen of remarkable visual depth — dark, slender rods of Tourmaline frozen in time within a translucent matrix.
Associated with balance and energetic harmony, Tourmaline in Quartz is also considered a traditional charm for good fortune — combining the grounding properties of Tourmaline with the amplifying qualities of Quartz.
Natural variations in colour, pattern, shape, and finish are to be expected; every specimen is entirely unique and may differ from those pictured.
