A museum-quality A1 skeleton of the Keeled Rat Snake (Ptyas carinata), one of the largest colubrids found across South and South-East Asia. Distinguished by the pronounced keeling on its dorsal scales — from which it takes its name — Ptyas carinata is a bold, fast-moving predator of forest and forest-edge habitats, capable of reaching impressive lengths. Its skeleton reflects this perfectly: a long, refined vertebral column with numerous articulated vertebrae and paired ribs, a slender colubrid skull, and the elegant proportions of a pursuit hunter.
This specimen is presented in a double rolling configuration — the skeleton arranged in two sinuous, overlapping curves that showcase the extraordinary length and flexibility of the ophidian spine to dramatic effect. Dry-preserved to A1 standard, unmounted and display-ready.
Suitable for herpetology and natural history collections, osteological study, cabinet of curiosities displays, specimen art, and interior design. A statement piece of genuine scientific and aesthetic distinction.

This was part of a double order, same as my other review. I’m new to pinning as a hobby in my spare time. From what I can tell they’re good specimens with plenty of variety. My only gripe is that they didn’t come with ID but that wouldn’t stop me from ordering again. Hopefully ID can be added to future purchases.
