Neurothemis terminata is a striking skimmer dragonfly within the family Libellulidae, distributed across South and Southeast Asia. A member of the boldly wing-coloured genus Neurothemis, terminata is distinguished by its rich red body and the characteristic dark wing-tip markings that give the species its name — terminata referring to the terminal dark banding at the wing apices that contrasts with the otherwise hyaline or lightly suffused wings. This combination of vivid body colouration and precise apical wing patterning makes terminata a particularly elegant and taxonomically distinctive member of the genus. This was part of a double order, same as my other review. I’m new to pinning as a hobby in my spare time. From what I can tell they’re good specimens with plenty of variety. My only gripe is that they didn’t come with ID but that wouldn’t stop me from ordering again. Hopefully ID can be added to future purchases.
