Formed over millions of years as mineral-rich water deposited layer upon layer of silica within Brazilian volcanic rock cavities, agate is one of nature's most visually complex stones. A single precise cut through the centre of each nodule exposes the full story — translucent bands of colour, intricate patterning, and a crystalline interior that no surface could hint at. Each slice is then carefully polished to bring out the stone's natural luminosity.
Available in vibrant blue or rich green — both enhanced with dye to intensify the stone's natural banding — these 5" slices are as striking backlit as they are displayed flat. Hold one to a window and the translucent layers come alive. Frame one, stand one, or display a pair: the format is endlessly versatile.
