Bronchocela jubata는 인도네시아 군도, 주로 자바, 발리, 롬복, 술라웨시에서 서식하는 날씬하고 선명한 색상의 나무 위에서 사는 아가마과 도마뱀입니다. 숲 가장자리, 정원, 열린 산림 지역에 서식합니다. 생존 시에는 선명한 녹색에 길게 늘어진 비늘로 이루어진 두드러진 목과 등 볏이 있어, 일반명과 학명 jubata (‘맨드’ 또는 ‘볏 달린’이라는 뜻)의 유래가 됩니다. 빠르게 움직이며 주행성 곤충 포식자로, 스트레스를 받으면 녹색에서 짙은 갈색으로 빠르게 색을 바꿀 수 있습니다. 이 아가마과 두개골은 이구아나형 도마뱀 두개골 골학의 견고하고 잘 연결된 예로, 아크로돈트 치아(치아가 소켓 없이 턱 가장자리에 직접 융합된 형태)라는 아가마과의 특징을 보여줍니다. 넓고 잘 발달된 측두부와 이 표본에서 명확히 보존된 적당히 길어진 주둥이도 포함되어 있습니다. 정밀하고 과학적으로 흥미로우며 시각적으로 독특한 이 표본은 진지한 자연사 수집이나 비교 해부학 연구에 훌륭한 추가물이 될 것입니다.

This was part of a double order, same as my other review. I’m new to pinning as a hobby in my spare time. From what I can tell they’re good specimens with plenty of variety. My only gripe is that they didn’t come with ID but that wouldn’t stop me from ordering again. Hopefully ID can be added to future purchases.
