Rhombodera javana is een robuuste schildbidwants binnen het geslacht Rhombodera, afkomstig uit Java en de bredere Indonesische archipel. Net als zijn verwanten wordt hij gekenmerkt door het brede, uitgezette pronotum dat de groep haar algemene naam geeft, gecombineerd met een stevig, goed gebouwd lichaam en een levendige groene kleur. Als een endemische soort uit Java binnen een geslacht dat bekend staat om zijn indrukwekkende grootte en vorm, is javana een soort van zowel regionaal biogeografisch belang als sterke visuele aantrekkingskracht — een fraai en bevredigend uitgespreid specimen dat elke Rhombodera-serie of Zuidoost-Aziatische Mantodea-collectie aanvult.

This was part of a double order, same as my other review. I’m new to pinning as a hobby in my spare time. From what I can tell they’re good specimens with plenty of variety. My only gripe is that they didn’t come with ID but that wouldn’t stop me from ordering again. Hopefully ID can be added to future purchases.
