Selenocosmia raciborskii, Raciborski’s Aardtijger Vogelspin, is een krachtige terrestrische vogelspin afkomstig uit de tropische bossen van Zuidoost-Azië en vernoemd naar de Poolse botanicus Marian Raciborski. Dit specimen is vakkundig geconserveerd in een volledig uitgespreide-poten pose – alle acht poten uitgestrekt tot hun natuurlijke spanwijdte – waardoor de ware omvang, dichte haren en indrukwekkende potenstructuur van deze imposante soort maximaal tot uiting komen. De uitgespreide-poten presentatie is de voorkeursvorm voor inlijsten en artistieke tentoonstellingen, waarbij de volledige symmetrie en aanwezigheid van de spin in één opvallende compositie wordt vastgelegd. This was part of a double order, same as my other review. I’m new to pinning as a hobby in my spare time. From what I can tell they’re good specimens with plenty of variety. My only gripe is that they didn’t come with ID but that wouldn’t stop me from ordering again. Hopefully ID can be added to future purchases.
