Et betydeligt neolitiske øksehovede slået ud af levende grøn jaspis, hentet fra Ténéré-regionen i det nordlige Niger. Dateret til cirka 4500–6000 år siden, repræsenterer dette stykke den dygtige stenbearbejdning fra sahariske neolitiske kulturer på et tidspunkt, hvor regionen understøttede blomstrende menneskelige befolkninger.
Grøn jaspis — værdsat for sin enestående hårdhed og fine korn — var et foretrukket materiale til funktionelle redskaber, især træbearbejdningsværktøj. Dette eksempel bevarer en stærk form og karakteristisk farvning.

This was part of a double order, same as my other review. I’m new to pinning as a hobby in my spare time. From what I can tell they’re good specimens with plenty of variety. My only gripe is that they didn’t come with ID but that wouldn’t stop me from ordering again. Hopefully ID can be added to future purchases.
