Hypsiscopus plumbea ist eine gedrungene, vollständig aquatische Schlange aus der Familie Homalopsidae, die in Süd- und Südostasien weit verbreitet ist und Reisfelder, Süßwassersümpfe, Teiche sowie langsam fließende Flüsse bewohnt. Ihren Namen verdankt sie ihrer charakteristischen bleigrauen Färbung auf der Oberseite. Sie ist eine hintenbezahnte, leicht giftige Art, die sich hauptsächlich von Fischen und Fröschen ernährt. Wie alle Homalopsidae weist sie dorsal positionierte Augen und Nasenlöcher auf – Anpassungen an eine aquatische Lebensweise, die sich deutlich in der Skelettstruktur widerspiegeln. This was part of a double order, same as my other review. I’m new to pinning as a hobby in my spare time. From what I can tell they’re good specimens with plenty of variety. My only gripe is that they didn’t come with ID but that wouldn’t stop me from ordering again. Hopefully ID can be added to future purchases.
