Draco hennigi es un dragón volador endémico de Borneo, una de las islas con mayor biodiversidad en la Tierra y un centro de endemismo para el género Draco, que alcanza su mayor diversidad de especies en el archipiélago de la Sonda. Nombrada en honor al entomólogo y biólogo evolutivo alemán Willi Hennig (1913-1976) —el fundador de la cladística y la sistemática filogenética, cuya obra de 1966 Phylogenetic Systematics transformó fundamentalmente la forma en que los biólogos clasifican y entienden las relaciones entre todos los organismos vivos—, esta especie lleva uno de los nombres más científicamente distinguidos del género. This was part of a double order, same as my other review. I’m new to pinning as a hobby in my spare time. From what I can tell they’re good specimens with plenty of variety. My only gripe is that they didn’t come with ID but that wouldn’t stop me from ordering again. Hopefully ID can be added to future purchases.
