Esta excepcional punta de flecha pertenece a la cultura Tenereana del Neolítico Norteño, una sociedad pastoral sofisticada que prosperó en el Sahara central durante el Período Húmedo Africano, cuando la región albergaba lagos, pastizales y abundante vida silvestre. Los artefactos tenereanos están entre los objetos líticos más refinados del Neolítico africano, y este ejemplo es una ilustración magnífica de por qué: elaborado a partir de una combinación deliberada de sílex y ágata, demuestra tanto maestría técnica como una sensibilidad estética considerada en la elección de los materiales.
La punta de flecha ha sido finamente tallada por presión con un estándar muy alto, con escamas limpias y regulares en ambas caras. La pátina — desarrollada durante miles de años de exposición al ambiente sahariano — es hermosa y consistente, añadiendo profundidad y autenticidad a la pieza. La combinación de sílex para la integridad estructural y ágata por sus cualidades visuales habla de un artesano que comprendía tanto las propiedades funcionales como estéticas de sus materiales.

This was part of a double order, same as my other review. I’m new to pinning as a hobby in my spare time. From what I can tell they’re good specimens with plenty of variety. My only gripe is that they didn’t come with ID but that wouldn’t stop me from ordering again. Hopefully ID can be added to future purchases.
