Premium-laatuinen A1-levitetty ja kuivattu jättimäinen puuseppämehiläisnäyte
Tämä poikkeuksellinen Xylocopa latipes -levitenäyte on yksi vaikuttavimmista mehiläisistä vakaville hyönteistieteilijöille. Tunnetaan nimellä jättimäinen puuseppämehiläinen ja yhtenä maailman suurimmista mehiläisistä, tämä puuseppämehiläinen (järjestys HYMENOPTERA, suku APIDAE) on taitavasti levitetty ja säilötty täydelliseen esittelyasentoon — korostaen valtavaa kehon kokoa, syvän mustaa väriä, jossa on silmiinpistävä helmiäishohtoinen siipikiilto, leveät litteät eturaajat (latipes = leveäjalkainen), jotka ovat urosyksilön tunnusmerkki, sekä voimakkaat puuta poraavat leuat, jotka tekevät tästä ikonista ja vaikuttavasta lajista täydellisen keskipisteen mille tahansa mehiläis- tai HYMENOPTERA-kokoelmalle, valmiina kehystettäväksi tai esille laitettavaksi.
Näytteen tiedot:
