Il Quarzo Ematoide Rosso è un quarzo trasparente o lattiginoso contenente inclusioni o fantasmi di ematite, che conferiscono al cristallo ricche tonalità rosse, arancioni e dorate. La pietra ha una lunga storia di significato umano — indossata come amuleto dagli antichi Egizi, che credevano offrisse protezione a chi la portava.
