Hierodula patellifera, comunemente nota come Mantide Sacra, è una mantide religiosa robusta e ampiamente diffusa in Asia meridionale e sudorientale, estendendosi fino all’Asia orientale. Membro della grande e diversificata famiglia Mantidae, si caratterizza per la sua struttura solida, la vivace colorazione verde e le distintive macchie gialle o bianche sulla superficie interna delle zampe anteriori — una caratteristica che ha contribuito al suo significato culturale in alcune parti dell’Asia. Una delle specie di Hierodula più frequentemente incontrate nelle collezioni, patellifera rappresenta comunque un esemplare disteso elegante e soddisfacente, mostrando la classica forma della mantide in modo eccellente.

This was part of a double order, same as my other review. I’m new to pinning as a hobby in my spare time. From what I can tell they’re good specimens with plenty of variety. My only gripe is that they didn’t come with ID but that wouldn’t stop me from ordering again. Hopefully ID can be added to future purchases.
