Bungarus candidus è una delle specie di serpenti più rilevanti dal punto di vista medico del Sud-est asiatico: un krait altamente velenoso diffuso nella penisola thai-malese e nelle isole circostanti. Caratterizzato dal suggestivo motivo a bande bianche e nere e dalle squame lisce e lucide, è tra i membri più distintivi dal punto di vista visivo della famiglia Elapidae. Presentato in forma curva, questo scheletro mette in risalto l’anatomia sinuosa e possente della specie in una posa dinamica e pronta per l’esposizione: un’aggiunta rara e scientificamente significativa a qualsiasi collezione importante o esposizione artistica.
