Chrysochroa limbata è tra i membri più spettacolari della famiglia Buprestidae — i coleotteri gioiello — apprezzata da collezionisti e naturalisti per lo straordinario splendore iridescente delle sue elitre. Originaria delle foreste del Sud-est asiatico, questa specie presenta una vivida lucentezza metallica che varia tra verdi intensi, tonalità dorate e blu a seconda dell’angolazione della luce, un fenomeno prodotto non dai pigmenti, ma dalla struttura microscopica della cuticola stessa.
Ogni esemplare qui offerto è stato conservato professionalmente a secco secondo lo standard A1, mantenendo intatte la struttura, la colorazione naturale e l’accuratezza scientifica, in uno stato non montato, pronto per essere esposto, studiato o utilizzato in progetti creativi.

This was part of a double order, same as my other review. I’m new to pinning as a hobby in my spare time. From what I can tell they’re good specimens with plenty of variety. My only gripe is that they didn’t come with ID but that wouldn’t stop me from ordering again. Hopefully ID can be added to future purchases.
