Neurothemis ramburii è una libellula con ali dai colori audaci appartenente al genere Neurothemis — un gruppo noto per produrre alcune delle libellule skimmer più visivamente sorprendenti dell’Asia — e membro della vasta famiglia Libellulidae. Intitolata in onore dell’entomologo francese Rambur, figura pionieristica nell’odonatologia, ramburii è diffusa nel Sud e Sud-est asiatico ed è caratterizzata da un’ampia colorazione scura delle ali, con una vasta sfumatura nero-marrone che crea un aspetto drammatico e immediatamente accattivante. In posizione distesa, il disegno audace delle ali si mostra al massimo effetto, rendendo questo esemplare distintivo e sorprendente, che si distingue dai membri del genere con ali rosse. Un’aggiunta preziosa a qualsiasi serie di Neurothemis o collezione di Odonata del Sud-est asiatico.

This was part of a double order, same as my other review. I’m new to pinning as a hobby in my spare time. From what I can tell they’re good specimens with plenty of variety. My only gripe is that they didn’t come with ID but that wouldn’t stop me from ordering again. Hopefully ID can be added to future purchases.
