Uno scheletro A1 di qualità museale del serpente ratto dalla carena (Ptyas carinata), uno dei colubridi più grandi presenti nell'Asia meridionale e sud-orientale. Caratterizzato dalla marcata carenatura delle squame dorsali — da cui deriva il nome — Ptyas carinata è un predatore audace e veloce degli habitat forestali e dei margini delle foreste, capace di raggiungere lunghezze notevoli. Il suo scheletro lo riflette perfettamente: una lunga e raffinata colonna vertebrale con numerose vertebre articolate e coste appaiate, un cranio colubrideo affusolato e le eleganti proporzioni di un cacciatore all'inseguimento.
Questo esemplare è presentato in una configurazione a doppio arrotolamento — lo scheletro è disposto in due curve sinuose e sovrapposte che valorizzano in modo spettacolare la straordinaria lunghezza e flessibilità della colonna vertebrale dei serpenti. Conservato a secco secondo lo standard A1, non montato e pronto per l'esposizione.

This was part of a double order, same as my other review. I’m new to pinning as a hobby in my spare time. From what I can tell they’re good specimens with plenty of variety. My only gripe is that they didn’t come with ID but that wouldn’t stop me from ordering again. Hopefully ID can be added to future purchases.
