Ahaetulla prasinaは、インドや中国南部からマレー半島、インドネシア諸島にかけて広く分布する、細長く鮮やかな色彩の樹上性ウィップスネークです。アジアで最も視覚的に印象的なヘビの一つで、鮮やかな緑色で非常に細長く、ほとんど信じられないほど細い体を持ち、森林の樹冠や低木地帯でトカゲや小鳥を専門に捕食します。Ahaetullaの最も注目すべき解剖学的特徴の一つは、その卓越した視覚システムです。水平の鍵穴型の瞳孔と、鼻先に沿って走る吻溝があり、これにより両眼視野が形成されます。これはヘビの中でも非常に珍しい適応で、素早く動く樹上の獲物を正確に捉えるための深度知覚を可能にします。頭蓋骨はこの視覚的特殊化を直接表しており、両眼視野の溝を収める細長く狭い吻部、高度に可動な顎装置、そして後方に位置する溝付き牙（後牙毒注入システムの特徴）が明確に保存されています。この標本は、科学的に優れ、視覚的にも独特な、真剣なコレクションや比較解剖学研究に最適な一品です。

This was part of a double order, same as my other review. I’m new to pinning as a hobby in my spare time. From what I can tell they’re good specimens with plenty of variety. My only gripe is that they didn’t come with ID but that wouldn’t stop me from ordering again. Hopefully ID can be added to future purchases.
