Diplomystusは表層での捕食に適した特徴的な上向きの口を持つ、開放水域の捕食者でした。化石記録は、同じくグリーンリバー層で一般的なナイティア属を積極的に狩っていたことを示しており、先史時代の捕食者と獲物の関係に興味を持つ収集家にとって魅力的な対象です。
各標本は驚くべき解剖学的詳細を保存しており、現在のアメリカ西部を覆っていた広大な湖沼生態系の始新世淡水環境を垣間見ることができます。

This was part of a double order, same as my other review. I’m new to pinning as a hobby in my spare time. From what I can tell they’re good specimens with plenty of variety. My only gripe is that they didn’t come with ID but that wouldn’t stop me from ordering again. Hopefully ID can be added to future purchases.
