南アジアおよび東南アジアに広く生息する、最大級のナミヘビ科の一種、キールドラットスネーク（Ptyas carinata）の博物館品質A1ランクの骨格標本です。名前の由来となった背側鱗の顕著な隆起が特徴で、Ptyas carinataは森林や林縁に生息する、活発で俊敏な捕食者です。全長は非常に長くなることがあり、その骨格にもこの特徴がよく表れています。多数の椎骨と対になった肋骨からなる長く整った脊柱、細身のナミヘビ科特有の頭蓋骨、そして追跡型捕食者らしい優雅な体型が見どころです。
本標本は二重ローリング仕様で、骨格を2本のしなやかに重なり合う曲線状に配置し、ヘビ類の脊柱が持つ驚異的な長さと柔軟性を印象的に表現しています。A1基準で乾燥保存されており、台座なしですぐに展示できます。

packed beautifully, sent fast. only issue is a bit of mold growth on one specimen, but nothing that can't be fixed with some isopropyl alcohol

This was part of a double order, same as my other review. I’m new to pinning as a hobby in my spare time. From what I can tell they’re good specimens with plenty of variety. My only gripe is that they didn’t come with ID but that wouldn’t stop me from ordering again. Hopefully ID can be added to future purchases.
