この注目すべき石英岩の研磨石は、紀元前4000〜6000年頃の初期新石器時代に遡り、アルジェリア南部の先史時代の人類活動が盛んな地域に由来します。研磨作業に理想的な、密度が高く細粒の石英岩から作られ、意図的にバッシュハンマーで叩かれ滑らかな楕円形に成形されており、自然の小石を偶然使ったのではなく、計画的かつ目的を持った製作であることを示しています。
この石の表面に刻まれた三つの明確な溝は、最も魅力的な特徴です。それぞれの溝は、骨や角で作られた工具、装飾品、または器具と思われる物体と繰り返し持続的に接触して形成されました。溝の深さと規則性は、この石が製作者の道具セットの中で頻繁に使われ、大切にされていたことを示唆しています。また、この石の最初の用途は、研磨石の組み立て内で押し棒として使われ、その後の研磨作業を通じて溝が形成された可能性が高いです。

This was part of a double order, same as my other review. I’m new to pinning as a hobby in my spare time. From what I can tell they’re good specimens with plenty of variety. My only gripe is that they didn’t come with ID but that wouldn’t stop me from ordering again. Hopefully ID can be added to future purchases.
