캄바바 재스퍼는 미세 결정 석영과 스트로마톨라이트가 얽혀 있는 퇴적암입니다. 스트로마톨라이트는 남세균과 기타 원시 미생물에 의해 형성된 고대 화석 군락으로, 지구상에서 가장 오래된 화석 중 하나입니다. 이로 인해 각 표본은 진정으로 고대 자연사의 한 조각입니다. 독특한 짙은 녹색 구체 무늬는 30억 년이 넘는 생명의 직접적인 기록입니다.
