Bronchocela jubata is a slender, vibrantly coloured arboreal agamid lizard endemic to the Indonesian archipelago — principally Java, Bali, Lombok, and Sulawesi — where it inhabits forest edge, gardens, and open woodland. In life, it is a striking species — vivid green with a prominent nuchal and dorsal crest of elongated scales, the source of both its common name and the specific epithet jubata, meaning ‘maned’ or ‘crested’. A fast-moving, diurnal insectivore, it is capable of rapid colour change when stressed, shifting from green to dark brown. The agamid skull is a robust and well-articulated example of iguanian lizard cranial osteology — featuring acrodont dentition — teeth fused directly to the jaw margin without sockets, a defining characteristic of the Agamidae — a broad, well-developed temporal region, and a moderately elongated snout clearly preserved in this specimen. A precise, scientifically interesting, and visually distinctive addition to any serious natural history collection or comparative anatomy study.

This was part of a double order, same as my other review. I’m new to pinning as a hobby in my spare time. From what I can tell they’re good specimens with plenty of variety. My only gripe is that they didn’t come with ID but that wouldn’t stop me from ordering again. Hopefully ID can be added to future purchases.
