Our Story

For over thirty years, Bugs Direct Ltd has been a leading supplier of museum-quality entomological specimens and framed insect art displays. Our passion lies in bringing the extraordinary beauty of the natural world into homes, galleries, museums, and design projects worldwide.

What We Do

We specialise in premium natural history specimens including dried butterflies and moths (Lepidoptera), beetles (Coleoptera), and a diverse range of other invertebrates. Our collection spans from individual specimens to small curated displays and large-scale installations commissioned by interior designers and museums for natural history exhibits.

Our signature double-glass see-through frames are particularly sought after—designed to be equally stunning whether wall-mounted or free-standing, they create the illusion of specimens suspended in mid-air. We offer both double-glass wooden frames and traditional shadowbox frames in a variety of complementary colours to suit any aesthetic.
