Selenocosmia raciborskii, Raciborski's Earth Tiger Tarantula, is a powerful terrestrial tarantula native to the tropical forests of Southeast Asia and named in honour of the Polish botanist Marian Raciborski. This specimen has been expertly preserved in a full spread-leg pose – all eight legs extended to their natural span – revealing the true scale, dense setae, and impressive leg structure of this commanding species to maximum effect.
