The eagle was one of Rome's most potent symbols: the emblem of Jupiter, the standard of the legions, and the vessel said to carry emperors to the heavens. This small but commanding figure would have served as a votive offering, a decorative fitting, or a personal amulet in its day.

This was part of a double order, same as my other review. I’m new to pinning as a hobby in my spare time. From what I can tell they’re good specimens with plenty of variety. My only gripe is that they didn’t come with ID but that wouldn’t stop me from ordering again. Hopefully ID can be added to future purchases.
