Coprolites (from the Greek kopros, dung, and lithos, stone) are fossilised faeces, and they represent one of the most informative trace fossils in the palaeontological record. By studying their composition, scientists can reconstruct the diet, physiology, and even behaviour of ancient animals with remarkable precision. These specimens originate from Madagascar and date to the Eocene epoch, approximately 34–56 million years ago.
Surprisingly colourful and completely odourless, coprolites are a genuinely conversation-starting addition to any natural history collection.

This was part of a double order, same as my other review. I’m new to pinning as a hobby in my spare time. From what I can tell they’re good specimens with plenty of variety. My only gripe is that they didn’t come with ID but that wouldn’t stop me from ordering again. Hopefully ID can be added to future purchases.
