What condition are the specimens in?
All 100 moths are A1 grade – the highest quality available. They arrive unmounted with intact wings, antennae, and legs, displaying vibrant iridescent colours with no fading or damage.
Are these moths ethically sourced?
Yes. These specimens come from sustainable farming programmes in Madagascar that provide vital income to local communities while protecting natural habitats. This ethical approach offers a responsible alternative to destructive agricultural practices.
What size are the moths?
Madagascan Sunset Moths have an impressive wingspan of 80–100mm, making them ideal for display work and framing projects.
Are they mounted or unmounted?
These specimens arrive unmounted and ready for setting. This allows you to position them exactly as desired for your display, collection, or resale projects.
How should I store unmounted specimens?
Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight. Keep in airtight containers with silica gel packets to prevent moisture damage. Properly stored specimens will retain their quality indefinitely.

I’ve probably ordered jewel beetle elytra from at least 15 different companies by now so when it comes to quality elytra I know my stuff and the quality that I just received from ArtButterflies is truly excellent. I would say that the average size from the 1,000 elytra package that I received is slightly larger than average, it’s a good mix of sizes. The shipping was also prompt considering that they are located in the UK and I live in Michigan. It took exactly 10 days to receive my order. If I ever need more jewel beetle elytra I will definitely buy from ArtButterflies again. Thank you!
Beautiful, and cute. Was packaged well!
I was kinda bummed out that I got all beetles instead of the mixed specimens I ordered so I messaged the seller and they are making it right. Ill definitely be coming back to this seller in the near future 😁

Great specimen but looks like some weighted object was used to flatten the centipede prior to drying, would like to see a thicker specimen hitting the shelves guys

Specimens arrived in good condition and quickly
I've ordered from this company many times, always great communication and quality. This time there was an issue with the package being opened and tampered with while in transit (no fault to the shop). Joseph quickly made things right and offered to re-ship the missing items.
The beetles are beautiful and well preserved, I can’t wait to pin these!
