The Chrysophora chrysochlora, commonly known as the Jewel Scarab or Shining Leaf Chafer Beetle, is one of nature's most spectacular metallic insects. Measuring 30–35mm in length, these beetles display an extraordinary iridescent green colouration — a natural phenomenon caused by structural light refraction, giving them an almost glitter-like brilliance.
Native to Peru, each specimen is ethically sourced and supplied as a real, dried, unmounted beetle — ideal for entomology collections, natural history displays, framing projects, or educational use.
All packs are sexed pairs, containing one male and one female specimen, allowing for accurate comparative study or a balanced display presentation.
