This museum-quality foliate-shaped arrowhead is a fine and relatively rare example of Neolithic lithic artistry. Knapped from beautifully zoned agate flint, it features significant 3 cm denticulation and an exceptionally refined retouch — a typology seldom encountered in this condition.
The foliate form with pronounced denticulation is among the more uncommon Neolithic point typologies, making this a genuinely distinctive acquisition. Its desert patina, zoned agate flint material, and well-documented 1950s French provenance make it an outstanding piece for serious prehistoric artefact collectors, natural history displays, and cabinets of curiosities.
